We like French Cleats.

Why?

• They are secure, sturdy, and are used in galleries around the world.

• They are permanent installations that can last a lifetime.

• And, if installed properly, they ensure that your artwork remains level.

There's nothing wrong with the other options!

We just know which one we prefer.

French Cleats are the best.

If you don't want to install French Cleats, here are your other options:

• 3M Command Strips are amazing for quickly hanging art on the walls. From a month to a few years, they last and are secure alternatives. Just make sure your photo is level and be careful when removing it down the road--You might pull the paint off the wall!

• Nothing is as tried and true as a Nail and Hammer 🔨

  Both are used when installing French Cleats. But these single points of failure have cost countless art collectors when they failed, damaging their prized collection.

  ---

• And then there's Monkey Hooks.

  They're a good alternative, providing a balance between simplicity and affordability.

  But those conveniences come at the expense of security and peace of mind.

  If you plan to install a piece of art that you view as an investment and want to cherish and protect it for years to come, we still recommend French Cleats.

  Much like you would prefer not to use zip ties to hold on a loose exhaust connecting pipe to the frame of a car. It works--but not for us.
